Top 10 - December, 2011

There's been a raft of monster new choonage. I've been really impressed with the direction that producers are going of late. It's a time of fusion in music - in the mainstream, and in the underground - and I'm glad to see dnb producers are leading the charge. Lots of big, bassy choons with pretty pretty vocals layered over top.... so without further ado:

  1. Raz - It's Painful (Lethal Impact) - stompy, stabby, bassy, filthier than the girls I like.
  2. Drumsound & Bassline Smith - Close - Original mix (New State) - big, bold & beautiful.
  3. Serjah 9 - Badman Fire (Bun E Down) ragga wobble!!!
  4. Ed Solo & Dekline - Sensi - Jungle Cakes UK - another solid dubwize selectionnnn
  5. Crystal Clear & Zen - Bullet (Ganja) - ragga vocal over a sturdy roller
  6. Ed Solo & Deekline - Man Down (Jungle Cakes UK) - cheeky dubwize stepper
  7. Defkline & Red Polo - Taking it Back - breaks/dubstep smasher!!!!
  8. Sigma - Loving Me - Filthy edit (Life) - pretty pretty vocals over big bass & nasty hooks
  9. Wilkinson - Tonight - After Midnight mix (Ram) - much bigger & more etherial than the original, I think.
  10. Tantrum Desire - Reach (Technique) - monster dubstep grinder

Go, buy, play!!!

In other news, how about a wayback playback, just for beauty's sake?
