July 12 - #TDotLove v.5 - feat. DJ Lush & MC Caddy Cad (extended set)

If you haven't dropped by to see us for one of our monthly jams at Bassline, it's high time you did. Tranzit and I have been hosting these jams, bringing in top-notch local DJs to play extended sets. We pair them with a who's-who of TDot jungle emcees, and set them loose on a rather raucous dancefloor. This month we're welcoming DJ Lush & MC Caddy Cad to play a set for the heads. Dancing shoes mandatory.

 Everybodies Daddy with M.C.P.

Full Spectrum

I'll be playing my last set as Everybodies Daddy, before giving the stage name a little update. I've got a ton of great ragga and drumsound tunes to drop on the dancefloor. Our friend, and one of Toronto's best up & coming producers, Artifice, is stopping by to play the dance-til-you-drop slot. You keep dancing, he keeps playing, simple as that.

June 2014 Top 10 Drum n' Bass tunes

This month's top 10 list is a little bit all over the place. It seems there have been a lot of darker, bass-heavy releases this past little while, and it took some time to whittle out the killer from the filler. Of course, I've kept a few gems secret, to myself, but there are plenty of awesome selections in this month's player.

If you're too technologically inept to interpret the player, the >| button is the one to skip forward in tracks. ;)

I'll be dropping a few of these tunes at the upcoming shows on June 17th, July 10th, and July 12th, so don't miss them!

Here's the link for the chart on Junodownloads. Enjoy, and happy shopping!

Tuesday is the new Friday.

Bit of a last minute booking here. The fine folks at Bass the Fuck Up have been throwing events here in Toronto for the past little while. Their mainstay is a Tuesday night weekly. They span across a wide array of genres, and feature some hot up & coming artists. I'll be dropping a liquid drum n' bass set for them at their Free Samples Vol. 1 event on Tuesday, June 17 at Baltic Avenue. There are drink specials and all.
